Woman Writer on Campus

Former Fredonia English Dept faculty member Dr Andrea O'Reilly Herrera -- one of the many people who helped get Women's Studies reinstated on our campus back in the mid-1990s and who now directs the Women's and Ethnic Studies program at Univ of Colorado-Colorado Springs -- will be on campus this week for two talks: Thursday, 3:30pm in WC S-204A and Friday, 3pm in Japanese Garden Room, Reed Library. Come meet this extraordinary woman and hear her talk about the connections between identity, ethnicity and gender in her own creative and scholarly work! Display of her books is in the campus bookstore.
