Hello everyone! I hope break is going well. I just thought I would share what I liked about the videos on Friday before break. My favorite was definitely the first video. I loved how she said that people cluster together based on sameness, and then judge other groups that are different. This is such a true statement. It doesn't even have to be such a big statement talking about different cultures. Within even a school, people cluster together and judge others for their differences. Who is to say what is normal and what is weird. If you only stick with people like you, you are missing out on so much in life and it doesn't make you right and normal. Another point I like that she made was that you don't always have to write what you know. Sometimes, branching out and expanding your views can open up all new doors for you. I really enjoyed her speech. I think she is a fascinating woman who made many great points.

I did love the part of her speech where she spoke about not simply writing what you know and branching out from your little bubble:) I was wondering where you found these videos because I would love to watch and blog about the other 2 videos as well but I can't find them.
